I have a pea size lump in my upper mid arm by the muscle. ultrasound showed its likely a lymph node (1.7 x 0.5 x 1.3 cm). is it normal to have an enlarged node in my arm? no trauma, infection, or anything.

Watch and wait: You may feel the node every couple of weeks, if the lymph gland doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!

Very painful pea sized lump in left arm pit. Painful to the touch. Brand new. Seems movable. More painful than seems normal for swollen lymph node.
