A member asked:

Recent bloodwork shows mpv at 12.6 -everything else in range. 12.5 was the high end in range so this is over. what does it mean? my doc told me everything was in range but i saw the results myself.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not an issue: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, difference between 12.6 and 12.5 is not clinically meaningful. Listen to your doctor. Wish you good health!
