May not need to do: anything. While your platelet count is low, it is not likely to cause any problems. Your doctor needs to determine why the count is low and treat the cause. High MPV is making up for some of the low counts.

Relax: Your platelets were and are lowish but not dangerously so. MVP is not a health component to be treated, and it fluctuates just as your platelet.count itself does. Your physician will decide whether to follow your platelets, do more labs or Rx.
