A member asked:

Good day dr, for the past 18 months i have wrist pain in my right wrist joint. i was diagnosed with tenosynovitis about a year ago. the pain has been coming back every month and i am unsure if it is necessary to go in for a consult?

Doctor can recheck: The doctor who cared for the original wrist pain should be happy to recheck the wrist to see what the new pain is due to. Sometimes, if new symptoms are just like old symptoms and the patient feels her issue is a recurrence, the physical therapy exercises that worked last time may work again. A call or visit to one's doctor can help figure things out.
