Ask his doctor: His doctor is the only doctor who knows his whole story, and can easily tell whether or not a total bilirubin level of 11.6 is ok or not. We on this public forum can only guess. That said, some full-term perfectly healthy breast-feeding babies run a bilirubin level between days 7 and 27 from about 18 down to 8, and it's fine for them. For one particular baby on a public forum, it's hard to guess.

Trend: The absolute value is fine for the baby’s age,but the trend and appearance of the baby should be considered. Please follow up with your Pediatrician.
