I took my bp medicine telmisartan 40 by mistake in the morning. i take them at night at 10 pm. only 12 hrs difference. should i take them at my usual time at 10 pm. or skip and wait for 24 hrs. thank you ?

It depends: This may be too late to respond but either choice was probably fine. It won't hurt you to take a second dose at 10 pm but was probably safe to skip it; it depends on how high your blood pressure is when off your med. If only slightly elevated then reasonable to skip but if it tends to get really high at times (like 180) then would have been better to take that second dose.
