I have been bitten by a dog (who has had all shots up to date) and it has gone deeper than the first layer of skin. the last tetanus booster i had was at the age of 15, i am now 22. do i still need to get a booster shot or antibiotics?

Yes: A booster vaccination is suggested since there is a wound. Clean the wound and keep dry. Follow up, particularly if the wound is swollen,red or draining pus.

Good idea: A booster on the tetanus would be fine but you are probably fine for that. I would be more concerned about other germs, especially if the bite is on the hand/wrist/fingers. Injected germs can get into the layers of your tendons & cause a terrible infection. If the area is puffy/red/drains or has pain go in & have it evaluated. Early treatment can avoid surgery & hospital based care.
