Pulse and bP : A rapid heartbeat is relative. Any rate above 100 is considered high. The list of potential reasons for a high heart rate is large. The question is it rate regular. If regular then list includes: infection, thyroid disease, pain, dehydration, drug withdrawal, anemia, anxiety, clots, medication side effects. Blood is normally higher sitting than laying, but the difference should be < 30
