If that happens...: Psychosis is bad dysfunction of one's brain, usually involving an inability to tell what is real and what is not real, plus an inability to properly interpret all the information a person's brain is absorbing. Thus, it's easily understandable if a psychotic person hasn't got the "motivation" to do daily activities of normal life. But, psychotic people may be very motivated in abnormal ways.
