No: If normal, we don't call it lymphadenopathy. The word means inflamed or enlarged lymph nodes, which means the doctor finds the lymph nodes are bigger, tender, have warmth over them, have redness over them, less mobile, etc... In teens, a common cause is one of the many common infections people can catch. Lymphadenopathy is common in children and usually goes away after weeks or a few months.
