A member asked:

My left tonsil is a tad bigger than my right. not red or anything. sometimes my left ear and throat hurts a little when i swallow. im 18 and female, non smoker and non drinker. what could this be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Can be normal: Mild differences in tonsil size often reflect variations in response to prior illness if not just how they formed, If it is not swollen or paiinful I would not consider it a problem.
