A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can recheck: His pediatrician can reevaluate to see if there is a worsening cold or flu (viral infection), a strep throat (bacterial, and would need antibiotics), croup (same viruses as laryngitis), asthma (with or without wheezing; may need inhaler or nebulizer), pneumonia (would need some treatment), etc... Basically, a child who is getting worse needs to be rechecked.
