Some possibilities: It may mean she is hard of hearing. It may mean she has a crappy stethescope. It may mean that you have too many of layers of clothes on. It may mean that the blood pressure cuff is too lose. Or it could mean that it is just hard to hear the tick, tick, tick of your heart when she is taking your bp.
