A member asked:

What is the absolute best blood pressure? i hear 120/80, 115,75, 110,60. which one is it?

May not be a BEST: While 120/80 was always the goal, the jury is still out on the best. Some thought is the lower the better, as long as a person feels ok. Obviously a blood pressure of 70/40 is way too low. I like to keep my patients in the 110/70 range.

All normal: All of those readings are within the acceptable range of normal. High blood pressure requiring follow up with a physician is anything above 140/80.

Depends: at your age 110/70-120/80 is perfect. for older people-above 130-150/80-90 is now acceptable too. BP overall tends to be higher in the morning and lower in the evening, unless u are a night shift person. reason is because of the Circadian rhythm, aka Biologic Time Clock.
