Knee lump: An enlarging hump on the knee with pain should be evaluated by a doctor in person. If it is getting bigger over days infection or inflammation from bursitis is possible. If it is warm , red and growing it shoulds like an infection needing an emergency room visit. If it is growing over weeks to months then bursitis is still possible and so are some bone diseases.
