Can venlafaxine make you want to sleep all day? since i started taking it i want to sleep for 10+ hours and when i sleep for any less than that my eyes feel super strained.

Venlafaxine is : a "powerful" anti-depressant and early on it can produce sleepiness..HOWEVER if this continues....contact the prescribing M.D Addition of or replacement by another medication may be indicated! Hope this is helpful! Dr Z
