Depression: You need to see your psychiatrist and carefully review what's happened with your activity level and weight gain while on venlafaxine. Some people who are very depressed sleep long hours and gain weight also -- so where you are in terms of your initial symptoms is very important. You ; your psychiatrist need to look at your medication dose and consider whether adjustments or changes are needed!
