There is a dull ache at the foot of my skull on the left hand side. voltaren gell did not help. but a panado does. it has been a few days now.

Neck ache: If there has been no recent neck injury this discomfort on the left side of the base of the neck may be a neuralgia or slight inflammation/irritation of the occipital nerve. Panadol(acetaminophen) seems to be effective and neuralgia usually resolves on its own after several days. See your physician as needed.
