I had a knee replacement on the 19th of october. this morning i woke up with a muscle spasm on the right side. it goes from the back to the front. i took norflex this morning and nerofen this afternoon. none gave much relief. ?

Call your surgeon: Anytime your postoperative course is not going well, & you are worsening, call your surgeon right away! You have had pain all day that is not getting better with the medications that should be helping. Call him/her now to find out what to do. If you can't reach him/her within an hour, please go to an Emergency Room, to make sure you do not have a serious problem like an infection or blood clot.
