I'm 8 wks pregnant and have chronic hypertension. i am on safe meds for this. will i need a c-section as my bp is on the higher side? i do not want to give natural birth. can i opt for a c-section?

Some medications are: safe, to be sure talk to your doctor. Cesarean is not required with hypertension, but only for indications related labor. You could choose a csection, electively, if you doctor agrees.
