Scapula pain: If there has been no recent injury or strain it appears that there is inflammation surrounding the shoulder and or scapula.or pain from an inflamed nerve or impingement of a nerve root exiting a lower neck or upper back vertebra from a bulging disc or spur. I recommend an examination by your MD , orthopedic specialist.or a neurologist. Xrays or MRI may be advised in order to make a diagnosis
