Hi, my son has recently lost a tooth. unlike all the other teeth he lost, when he lost this one, there was a small dark red squishy bump. is this normal or should i be concerned?

Normal: That's probably what's left of the tissues in the pulp chamber of the tooth. Will disappear in just a few days. By the way, if your child is exchanging teeth he should have his first Orthodontic examination. Orthodontists often do this for free. Better to be see to early than too late.
