How long does a sacral fx due to osteoporosis take to heal? i am 25yo male with confirmed osteoporosis and fx by mri and bone density tests.

Sacral fracture: Some patients are confined to bed rest for 3-6 months and as long as a year. Others are permitted to try weight bearing as tolerated. Severe fractures may cause neurological complications and may require surgery. An orthopedic surgeon can advise you best,however.

Depends : Length needed for healing depends on how active are you, how bad is the osteoporosis, is it been treated or not, is the osteoporosis progressive, the reason for the fracture.
