Recheck: There is the possibility that the germ resisted the abx, or that fluid remaining bothers her. The fluid can persist for weeks after the germ is killed. If fever & acute pain were there at the beginning but now gone, it is likely just fluid. You can wait it out or go in for a re-check. It is not unusual for a 2nd new infection to occur a week or so after abx are finished.
