Confusing question: Most people talk about a double ear infection as meaning their middle ear (behind the ear drum) is infected. This has nothing to do with ear rings ant their use is neither avoided or needed. If your kid has festered ear piercings then healing often requires the removal of any foreigh material (posts) until healed.
