Hurt back at 20, now 61, lived in bad back pain all my life. read last 2 xray reports (2017 & this week's) myself for 1st time. it said aorta calcification seen in both. my two different docs never mentioned it, so is it normal for my age? scared! ty

NOT TO WORRY: At age 61 calcification of our arteries is NORMAL...(AGING cannot be "halted" YET!) Have your LIPIDS (Cholesterol etc measure....that risk factor is worth "pursuing"! If you have not had a cardiac stress test..now is the time! Good luck (and in"empathy") DR Z
