Worry or act ?: It would be reasonable to have the kid tested by an educational psychologist for a disorder of focus and or math skills. There are things that can be done for both but sorting the needs out requires skills many parents/teachers do not have.

Don't worry: Do get her evaluated by a competent Psychiatrist. The school system may be able to do some testing for you. She is giving you clear info that things are not working the way they should. Eval sooner rather than later . Take action! Best wishes
