Yes: That is a significant height for a 3 y/o. I would have her seen at the Dr.'s office and monitored for a little while to make sure pt is acting well. Keep looking for signs of irritability, fussiness, vomiting, change in personality. Any changes need to go to ER right away.

Depends: Most of these that are not knocked out with the fall,have no symptoms & can tell you what happened can be monitored at home.They can be allowed to sleep or nap on their regular schedule, but check with a flashlight while they rest.A single spit up or headache is common.If there is any change in personality, repeated vomiting, etc. take her in at once.
