Abscess: If there is an accumulation of pus in an infection, it has to be drained. Your son has to go to the doctor to see if he still has pus and for it to be drained. He probably needs antibiotics but even antibiotics have difficulty getting into area of pus. It is the face so you want it taken care of in an expedited manner. Please send him to the doctor.
