A member asked:

My neck constantly cracks every time i move my neck no matter what direction. it even does it when in bed sleeping. some times its small cracking but a lot of the time it cracks really loudly. i have arthritis. what can i do to stop it happening?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Neck cracking: Neck cracking can be due to escaping gas from within joints, arthritis, or bones or other tissues rubbing against each other. I'm not sure that you can do anything to stop the neck cracking with motion. An orthopedic specialist may have more information for you concerning this matter.
