Depends on whether -: It hurts or produces any other symptom besides the sounds it produces. Generally if causes nothing else, no one would advise much, but it causes apin or tingling/numbness in any part of the u extremity, then i would certainly investigate it further, specially see whether thingling type symptoms are from mthe neck it self or from a peripheral nerve issue. Start by seeing the pcp.
