Not recommended: I consider this a poor idea, especially if you're driving to the office. Also that dose is formidable enough to be somewhat mind altering and would affect your interactions with the physician. It is not helpful if we don't interact with the patient in her baseline physical and mental state. I would be interested in hearing other physicians opinion on this issue.
