ran out of old xanax i had for years- thought it was ok. i used 1/4 pill to get to sleep and control anxiety. i need a new prescription. no doctor?

Get a doctor: Xanax is a controlled substance which has addiction liability as well as inducing drowsiness. The prescriber needs both a state license and a federal DEA license to prescribe it. You should be evaluated to determine if this or any medication is needed in your situation . Good luck.
