4 urine cultures 3 show mixed flora 50,000-100.000 but 1 organism colony count. 1 showed 10.000 group d strep. i have rbc, wbc, nitrates, blood and cloudy urine. urologist wont prescribe antibiotics. group d isnt normal and mixed flora only 1 org. ?

Group D strep: Your urine culture results are indeterminate but the urinalysis suggests urinary tract infection. Sensitivity results of the culture are helpful in choosing an antibiotic in case the decision is made to treat. I recommend a second opinion from a specialist in infectious diseases.

Had some blood in my urine. Went to Urologist Blood, WBC and RBC counts were high in my urine. Went on Cypro and had CT Scan. the Results from CT scan should no anomalies. 2nd blood test showed normal Dr wants a cystoscopy feel its unnecessary???
