I have had low potassium a few times now. i was give 10mg tablets to take but it still seems to be low. im concerned and know i need to take more but dont know how much is safe in a day? i have no kidney function issues

Careful: The most important thing here will be to be patient and trust your treating physician. It will take sometime to titrate your dose and to continue the workup for what the reason might be for your low potassium. Do not try to self adjust your doses, call your treating physician in order to get clear recommendations.
