Post longer question: About fevers... in minor illnesses like a cold, fevers go away by themselves. Most people use over-the-counter drugs like Tylenol, Motrin, or Advil for relief of such symptoms. If a person has had prior infections more than usual, or is looking sickly, he can check with his doctor. Each case is individually decided upon regarding any need for exams and lab tests. It's hard to predict one's future.
