Depends: In theory any open sore within the oral cavity of both persons at the time would make blood /serum available to both transmit & receive the virus. In practice oral transmission of HIV is exceedingly rare. If your teeth & gums are in great shape I don't think I would bother. However, only you can be comfortable with any exposure & you must make such a decision.
