I've had post nasal drip for a couple weeks now. having to clear my throat a lot. i thought it was getting better, until j woke up with a mild sore throat today. when i swallow it is like a booger or something causing pain on the right side. normal?

Infection: A viral respiratory tract infection is likely. A head cold and/or a cough will most likely follow. At this time, rest, drink adequate fluids, gargle with warm salt water and suck on lozenges. Symptoms should gradually improve and resolve in several days.
