I have a bit of scratchy throat not sore or hard to swallow, and a bit if a post nasal drip. have been experiencing these on and off for a month or so. no loss of taste or smell. no fever. do i need to self-isolate or get tested?

Sinusitis: Post nasal drip can indicate that you have some congestion in your sinuses. The dripping will naturally irritate your throat and can cause a mild cough. Treat by taking in lots of extra fluids, use a saline nasal wash daily (hypertonic- 2 packets of salt), take a decongestant (oral or spray) and a mucus thinner (such as mucinex). If you develop a low grade fever, see your Dr for antibiotics.

No: Symptoms do not seem consistent with Covid, since you don't report fever, dry cough or malaise. Depends also upon whether you've contacted any infected persons. Keep an eye out for the above symptoms. Stay well!
