Depressed: I don't know how long you've been on the new medication (pristiq), but it will take a few weeks to show what results are going to appear. Treatment resistance is a significant problem in depression, as about 30% of patients do not achieve remission after 4 different antidepressant treatment trials. Your psychiatrist will be working with you to find an effective regimen -- please don't give up!

MEDICATION: Best to discuss medication with your Psychiatrist. If uncomfortable with your Dr. consult another for a second opinion. Have a physical exam by a Dr. to determine if you have a physical illness. Consult with a Clinical Psychologist for psychotherapy with ZOOM sessions. Fears and anxiety could be heightened due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Stay safe & hopeful to elevate your immune system.
