Ice: Ice packs placed immediately after surgery , half hour on, half hour off for the first twelve hours after the procedure is important before the procedure avoid meds like aspirin, etc. Bromelain taken the week before the procedure may also help. Discuss this with your oral surgeon at your consult visit!
