A member asked:

Should you be able to feel the bones in your neck? just curious talking im not talking about the base i mean up like the neck.. i can run my fingers down after my hairline and feel it.. i have neck degeneration and scoliosis in 2 place of my back

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: A person would probably need to have enormous amounts of neck fat or neck muscles in order for a doctor to not be able to feel some of the bones. The bones in the neck are the spine's neck vertebrae, also called cervical vertebrae. There are 7 such vertebrae in humans.
