Need more info but:: All headaches are painful (some more than others) and headaches are very common, so it's not clear what you are asking or why. Most people take an OTC pain medicine like ibuprofen (Advil) and usually after a good nite's sleep it is gone. If the headache is really severe or persists more than a day or 2 it might be wise to see a doctor.
