It's not easy...: Not easy to fix. A person who has the same or similar thoughts over and over, every day, is probably showing OCD and anxiety traits. That she is aware of her problem, is good. Now, what does one do about it? A primary care doctor or a psychiatrist has several medication options that can help. Psychiatrists have "talk therapy" and other techniques that also help... but medication is very useful.
