Yes, but...: If klebsiella bacteria are in the blood and are captured by the blood sample, it should appear in the blood culture result. That means the blood culture should not show klebsiella if the infection does not "seed" bacteria into the bloodstream. That also means live klebsiella must be present in the blood sample, and they must reproduce in the incubator, in order to show up in the culture result.
