A member asked:

What are the side effects of risperlet and does using risperlet make it more likely for me to get dementia later on. i am asking this because there is dementia running in my family.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Risperlit: Risperlit influences the neurotransmitters dopamine and serotonin to restore their balance and thus improve mood, thinking and behavior. From my reading, I don't see that it alters brain structures and leads to dementia. A psychiatrist, who would have much experience working with this medication, and/or a pharmacist would be best to answer your question, however.
