Lots of resources: Fortunately there are educational materials and organizations providing help with this. A compendium of dementia resources is available on our cpancf.Com and neuropsychology central websites: http://cpancf.Com/pdf/dementia%20resources%20for%20caregivers.Pdf here's a link to a free caregivers guide: http://www.Acsu.Buffalo.Edu/~drstall/hndbk0.Html build a healthcare care team you trust.

Complex: Although behavioral issues may be similar to alzheimer's, here meds are a bit more involved. Need antiplatelet drug to prevent more strokes, and clopidogrel or Aggrenox may be useful. The best tested drugs for this kind of dementia are donepezil and galantamine (galantamine hydrobromide).
