Carpal tunnel syndr.: You may have carpal tunnel syndrome in that hand (tightness of the tissues in the wrist), High salt intake can make it worse. Decrease salt intake: reduce it by 1 shake of salt a day on everything, and you will eventually be down to one! and then it will taste just as salty as it does now. See your primary care doc about your hand, and you can get a firm diagnosis and treatment. or referral.

When a person eats salt it enters the saliva (spit) and so to taste salt in a food, it has to have more salt than in your saliva. So decreasing 1 shake a day, will lead to lower salt in saliva, and so less salt is needed in foods to taste salty.
