Watch him closely: Overall, no worries :) Your little guy picked up a virus, RSV or rhinovirus for example and likely not influenza. There are no medications that need to be prescribed. Things you could do is get nasal saline drops to break up the mucous and run the humidifier daily through fall and winter. Be careful if you use the bulb suction as this could cause irritation in the nasal passages if overused.
