A member asked:

What happens when you get 2 teeth pulled and there is still a lot of infection?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The patient can...: Can call her dentist or go back to be reexamined. Infections resolve by infected parts getting removed (such as the teeth that were pulled), pus draining out, antibiotics helping kill the bacteria, and her own body's defenses putting up a good fight. If the infection is not resolving, the patient gets rechecked to see if changes in treatment are needed.
